I HAVE TO LIVE A LEGACY NOW BEFORE IT IS LATE; OFFINSO MANHENE SAID.
Omanhene of the Offinso Traditional Council, Nana Wiafe Akenten III, has said that he must live a legacy for his people before it is too late or before they complain.
Speaking with Sofoba Kwame Afrifah, of Agyenkwa FM, said, his people need more social amenities that has pushed him to do something.
Nana Akenten III, has financed and ordered for the construction of one number, four unit classroom block with office rooms for the teachers of Camp 31 M/A basic school at Camp 31, a community within his jurisdiction.
According to him, the fund for the project is from his own or personal pocket and not by either the Traditional Council or the Municipal Assembly.
Nana therefore added that embarking on such initiative will only be and end in that community, but the other communities in the area will also get theirs.
The Project committee leader who doubles as the Baamuhene for the traditional council, Nana Kofi Adu-Boahen, also added that the teachers and the people in the community had earlier made several complaints but had no result Nana Wiafe Akenten III has come to their aid.
The headmaster for the school, Mr. Kenneth Atoriyah, expressed his gratitude to Nana Wiafe Akenten III.
He thereafter asked for support from others for some other basic needs of the school.
